AFRICA a source of inspiration for Cartier for the past century

Africa is a magical and a sacred land where nature becomes motif.In 1914 Cartier drew from leopard's spotted coat when designing a watch in 1919."Sudanese and Egyptian bracelet evoked traditional Mauritian or Madagascan ones.
